The Pink era returns with the movie Barbie. The Pink Era, characterised by vivid pink hues, has historically stood for gender-specific expectations and roles. But the film Barbie has been instrumental in reviving this era by reflecting the changing cultural attitudes and redefining what it means to embrace femininity.

Vibrant Pink and its shades, high ponytails, makeup and sparkle are trending again as many creators took to social media dressing up all pink with their twists. Incorporating components of Barbie's iconic style into their clothing and general aesthetics, celebrities and influencers have likewise embraced the Pink Era.

Bhomrah is India’s first Skin Positivity influencer and Digital Content Creator. She encourages us to embrace our true selves without filters. Growing up as someone who faced criticism for acne and weight she went on to launch ‘No Filter with PKB’, a platform dedicated to promoting skin positivity and challenging the prevailing beauty standards. In a recent post on Instagram, she shared a clip of her makeup look inspired by Barbie. She captioned it, ‘In my Barbie era with all the feels’ with a diamond emoji. 

Muskan Chanchlani

Chanchlani is a content creator and influencer. She is primarily recognised for her activities on Instagram and YouTube. Muskan became well-known through her witty and enjoyable videos, which frequently contain humorous and relatable material that connects with her audience. Many of her videos are also in collaboration with her brother Ashish Chanchlani, who is also a content creator. Chanchlani joined the party organised by Malharfest. She went on with a sparkly outfit for the night and lived all her Barbie party dreams.

Leisha Patidarr

The 21-year-old fashion influencer from Mumbai is well-known for her before-and-after transition reels. She started with straightforward 'Get Ready With Me (GRWM)' videos. Millions of people have watched her distinctive transition clips, which have drawn viewers from all across the internet. Patidar created many videos on the trend. The first video she dropped was where she is dressed in a variety of pink outfits and is acting over the voiceover of ‘Hi Barbie...Hi Ken...In a second video, she curled up a hairstyle inspired by Barbie and in the third, she featured an Indian Barbie wearing a gorgeous pink lehenga.

Taneesha Mirwani

Mirwani is YouTuber and social media celebrity renowned for posting short comedy films with family and friends, as well as dance and lip-sync videos. On her Instagram account, she has over 425k followers. She also posts vlogs and films about her daily life. She along with many other content creators attended the Malhar fest. She dressed up in a pink jumpsuit, pairing it with pink heels and glasses, looking like a perfect 21st-century Barbie.

Ishika Bhargava

Ishika Bhargava is well-known for her work as a dancer, comedian, entrepreneur, model, and social influencer. She is also a co-founder at influencive.io. She is mostly known for dance videos and her fashion sense. Bhargava too took to her social media account and shared her excitement about the movie in her way. Dressed up all pink she shared a choreography on a Bollywood song captioning it “Bollywood Barbie”. She also posted a transition reel with different pink outfits, footwear and hairstyles.
