Alia Bhatt Paparazzi Row: Bandra Police Ask Actor To File Complaint

Alia Bhatt recently criticised the paparazzi on social media for photographing her at home and violating her privacy. The actor has now been contacted by Bandra police.

Alia Bhatt recently used Instagram to criticise the paparazzi for taking pictures of her inside her home. According to the actor, it was an "invasion of privacy." She could be seen sitting inside her house in the pictures. It was photographed from a nearby building using a zoom lens. Bhatt had included a tag for the Mumbai Police in her post. As soon as the Bandra Police became aware of it, they contacted the actor and requested that she lodge a complaint.

Bandra Police Contacts Alia Bhatt

Many celebrities spoke out in favour of Alia Bhatt and shared stories of similar privacy invasions they had endured. The Bandra Police reportedly have now contacted Bhatt over the issue. They spoke on the phone about the same thing. The actor was instructed by the police to report the incident. Bhatt, however, claimed that the website that published her photos is in contact with her PR team. She will decide what to do next and then contact the police.

Alia Bhatt, who rarely expresses her anger in public, wrote on her Instagram stories, "Are you kidding me? Sitting in my living room, having a perfectly ordinary afternoon at home, I suddenly felt someone or something watching over me. When I looked up, two men on the terrace of the next-door building were pointing a camera directly at me. In what universe is this acceptable and permitted? Someone's privacy has been blatantly violated. It is safe to say that today, all lines were crossed. There is a line you should not cross." She also disclosed the images that had been taken of her.
