Badhaai Do Release Date Revealed, Much Awaited Sequel To Release This Valentine's

Bhumi Pednekar-Rajkummar Rao announced Badhaai Do release date on January 24. The makers are looking for a theatre release of the much awaited sequel to the blockbuster 2018 movie Badhaai Ho. The team also revealed the date of trailer release.

The movie, produced by Junglee Pictures stars Rajkummar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar. The makers have kept Badhaai Do release date under covers which anticipated the fans even more but the announcement made on Monday, January 24, cleared the air around the release.

Badhaai Do Release Date And Trailer

Rajkummar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar starrer will release on February 11 and will be a Valentine's special for their fans. Along with Badhaai Do release date, the team also announced the trailer release of the film. The trailer of the movie releases on January 25.

The makers and team of Badhaai Do are gearing up for a theatre release and the preparations for the same are under process. Although cinema halls in Maharashtra are operative currently, the ones in Delhi are not open yet. If the theatres reopen in Delhi by early February, then the movie will release on the said date, else it will release on February 18. In the last few months, the movie had several test screenings to evaluate the response of the target groups and the result has, till now, been in the positive direction.

Badhaai Do Release Date And Plot : What Is The Film About?

Talking about the movie, Rajkummar Rao has stated in an earlier interview that the movie will be about drama, family and humour and will discuss yet another socially relevant topic just like its prequel Badhaai Ho that was on pregnancy after 50. Speculating from the cast and the  franchise that the movie is a part of, Badhaai Do is expected to be another stereotype breaker.

Meanwhile, Bhumi Pednekar and Rajkummar Rao kept the fans engaged with their updates from sets and shooting. From Rajkummar Rao's gym sessions to Bhumi Pednekar's filming attires, the fans got a glimpse of the movie through social media. The filming ended in March 2021 and the movie was earlier expected to go on floor in January 2022. However, due to the pandemic situation, the release date was shifted to February.
