The plot revolves around Akash (Ayushmann Khurrana), the protagonist, and his daily struggles as he tries to convince everyone that he is blind. Andhadhun is a well-acted, beautifully structured film with numerous twists and turns. It's a satirical crime thriller that will keep you on the edge of your seat from beginning to conclusion. Khurrana and Tabu's performances in the film were praised by critics and viewers alike.

2. Vicky Donor (2012)

In his debut film, Ayushmann Khurrana played a sperm donor. The film broke down barriers and established Khurrana as a rising star. Vicky Arora is a jobless Delhi-based Punjabi boy who is convinced by Baldev Chaddha (portrayed by Annu Kapoor) to become a sperm donor in order to make quick money.

At the 60th National Film Awards, the film earned the National Film Award for Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment.

3. Dum Laga Ke Haisha (2015) 

Dum Laga Ke Haisha, also published as My Big Fat Bride in the United States, is a 2015 Hindi-language romantic comedy drama. Prem Prakash Tiwari (Ayushmann Khurrana) is a young video cassette shop owner in Haridwar's local market. His father wants him to marry Sandhya, a well-educated, overweight girl (Bhumi Pednekar). Despite his dislike for her, Prem, a school dropout, gets pushed into marrying her.

Bhumi Pednekar played the overweight wife to Ayushmann Khurrana's unlikable, reluctant husband. The audience fell in love with the team and their story. The film was nominated for a National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Hindi.

 4. Badhaai Ho ( 2018)

Badhaai Ho was released in 2018. Ayushmann Khurrana and Neena Gupta appear in the film, which also has Gajraj Rao, Surekha Sikri, Shardul Rana, and Sanya Malhotra in supporting roles. The film depicts the narrative of a middle-aged couple who become pregnant, much to their everybody's and especially their elder son's dismay.

Ayushmann Khurrana plays a 25-year-old son who is humiliated by the fact that his middle-aged parents are expecting a third child. The plot revolves around Khurrana's transformation from a resentful son to an accepting support system for his parents.

5. Shubh Mangal Saavdhan (2017)

Shubh Mangal Saavdhan follows the story of Mudit Sharma (Ayushmann Khurrana), who struggles with erectile dysfunction. As the wedding day approaches and problems and arguments mount, Mudit defends Sugandha (Bhumi Pednekar) and their relationship against family and social expectations. He even puts his life on the line to defend Sugandha, his true love. He rejects toxic masculinity, and the two of them work together to establish their marriage as a partnership of equals.

6. Meri Pyaari Bindu (2017)

Bindu Shankarnaryanan (Parineeti Chopra) and Abhimanyu Roy (Ayushmann Khurrana) have been best buddies since childhood. Abhimanyu has always had feelings for Bindu, but he never expresses his true sentiments to her and is content in being her buddy.

Abhimanyu proposes to Bindu, but she rejects his proposal and flees to Bangalore. Abhimanyu now works as an erotic horror novelist, and his first book is a success. A birthday celebration is planned, and Bindu also travels to Kolkata. Bindu is now married to Mr. Nair, and the couple has a daughter. Both of them return to the spot where they used to go as children and begin reminiscing about their childhood.

Khurrana created a name for himself as a male lead in a story about a failed relationship. Even though the love story did not have a happy ending the audiences appreciated it.

 7. Bala (2005)

Balmukund "Bala" Shukla played by Ayushmann Khurrana, a popular child who takes pride in his haircut, is in charge of the teacher's tormenting. However, 14 years later Bala is a balding man in his late twenties.

Ayushmann Khurrana showed in Bala that he isn't afraid to break away from traditional mould of the hero by playing a man who is ashamed of his baldness. Bala garnered mostly excellent reviews from critics, who praised the film's performers and plot.

8.  Dream Girl (2019)

Ayushmann Khurrana portrays an actor whose female voice mimicry attracts unwanted attention. 9. Article 15 (2019)

 10. Shubh Mangal Zyaada Saavdhan (2020)

 Shubh Mangal Zyaada Saavdhan was one of the first films in Hindi to openly discuss same-sex love. Kartik Singh and Aman Tripathi, played by Ayushmann Khurrana and Jitendra Kumar, appear to be a happy couple. They do have chemistry together their bond is organic rather than forced. The ease with which both actors relate to one another lends credibility to the situation. They don't accentuate their femininity in their appearance, gestures, or body language, which is a significant departure from how same sex relationships have been portrayed in Hindi films. Their worries are universal, and their quarrels are nothing more than lovers' quarrels. Khurrana played the more showy of the two characters. He's a rebel for a cause, and his antics endear him to the audience. Kumar is the reserved one, but it is his passionate act that brings the relationship into the open.
