Avika Gor Production House: 10 things to know about the young actor who started her own production house.

Balika Vadhu fame actor Avika Gor has become one of the youngest producers in the country. The 23-year old actor has launched her own production house Avika Screen Creations. She announced the launch of the production house on Instagram, along with its first venture, on Tuesday.

Sharing a poster of her production house and a glimpse from her upcoming Telugu film under the banner, she wrote, "A DREAM come true!!! I’m so overwhelmed today.  Here it is - My PRODUCTION house! Another step towards contributing to the industry that has given me everything. I sincerely hope that I can do justice to all your expectations!! Please share it as much as possible. "

Writing about the logo, she further added, "The Yellow color represents JOY that filmmaking brings me.

“Creativity comes out of the box” is represented by the “butterfly” Yes, that beautiful boy you see in the corner is @shiroo_chihuahua ! So grateful for everyone who has ever believed in me."

Avika will also be starring in the film along with the actor Sai Ronak. The project will be reportedly directed by Murali.

Here are 10 things to know about the young actor Avika Gor:

1. 1. Avika Gor was born on June 30, 1997. Her mother tongue is Gujarati. She did her schooling from Ryan International School, Mumbai.
   2. Her first-ever feature in the entertainment industry was Rajkumar Bhairavi in Raajkumar Aaryyan on NDTV Imagine in 2008.
   3. Her first breakthrough role was as Anandi in the popular Indian serial Balika Vadhu on Colors channel in 2008. She received widespread acclaim for the portrayal of a child bride in Rajasthan in the TV serial.
   4. As a child artist, she appeared in various serials and movies like Morning Walk, Paathsaala and Tez.
   5. After great success in Balika Vadhu, she starred as Roli, the parallel lead in the Indian soap opera Sasural Simar Ka. She received immense praise and popularity for her performance in the show.
   6. She made her debut in Indian cinema via Tollywood with Uyyala Jampala in 2013. She was praised for her performance in the movie and received awards and accolades for the debut. Since then, she has starred in Lakshmi Raave Maa Intiki, Cinema Choopistha Mava, Thanu Nenu and many more movies of other languages.
   7. Avika has participated in many reality shows as well, like India’s Got Talent, Kitchen Champion and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.
   8. She has won many awards till date like Best Child Artist and Best Actress – Drama (Jury) in Indian Television Academy Awards 2008, Rajiv Gandhi National Awards for Young Prodigy in 2009, two more ITA awards as the Best Child Actor as well as other awards for her cinematic performance.
   9. Avika attended the prestigious Cannes Film Festival 2016, with her Sasuraal Simar Ka co-star Manish Raisinghan for their short film Ankahee Baatein which was selected in the short film category.
   10. The talented actor is also vocal about many social issues and has taken part in initiatives against rape, child marriage and so on. Furthermore, she became the only television actress from India to be felicitated with the prestigious 'Face of the Year' award in Vietnam.
