Avika Gor launches production house: Actor Avika Gor announced the launch of her production house "Avika Screen Creations" on Instagram today. The actor shared images of her production house's logo and the first project she is producing under her banner.
Gor, known for her work in popular daily soaps like Balika Vadhu and Sasural Simar Ka, wrote in her post, "A DREAM come true!!! I’m so overwhelmed today. Here it is - My PRODUCTION house! Another step towards contributing to the industry that has given me everything. I sincerely hope that I can do justice to all your expectations!! About the significance of her production house's logo. Avika Gor wrote, "The Yellow color represents JOY that filmmaking brings me," also adding that the butterfly in the picture represents “Creativity comes out of the box".
The 23-year-old will be making her debut as a producer with a Telugu film, directed by Murali and starring actor Sai Ronak and Gor herself in the lead.
Last year, the actor had made headlines for opening up on dealing with weight issues and how she overcame them to set herself on the path of fitness.
Gor’s viral posts from October last year elaborated how and why she was inspired to make the shift to healthier life choices. “when I looked at myself in the mirror & I broke down. I didn’t like what I saw. Big arms, legs, a well earned belly. I had let go too much,” she said.
