Singer Arjun Kanungo and his fiancé model and actor Carla Dennis are set to get married soon. The couple is planning on hosting two weddings, the first wedding will be according to Hindu customs and they will hold a white wedding a year later.
Arjun Kanungo and Carla Dennis have reportedly been in a relationship for seven years and had planned to get married earlier. However, the global COVID-19 pandemic served as a barrier to their plans.
Kanungo and Dennis got engaged in November 2020. Their wedding will be a three-day affair and the intimate ceremony will take place in Mumbai in the presence of family and close friends.
In an interview with Times of India, Kanungo said, “The marriage was long due. We were ideally looking at December 2022, but a few guests were unavailable during those days.” The couple then decided to host the wedding on a month every guest was available.
Dennis hails from South Africa and has been living in India for years. Kunungo said that while Dennis and her family are not from India, they are “gung-ho about our traditions and are excitedly working on their Indian wedding attire and prep”.
Kunungo added that the couple was planning on hosting a white wedding in April 2023 in the United Kingdom. He said that the white wedding was for “Carla and her near and dear ones”.
The couple has already planned their honeymoon. Kunungo revealed that the couple was planning on travelling to Japan. He said that Japan has "a special place in our hearts." Kunungo said that after three years of being together, the couple had hit choppy waters. He travelled to Japan for work and asked Dennis to join him and during the stay, they "fell in love with each other again".

Arjun Kanungo and Carla Dennis are set to get married to each other in August 2022. The three-day affair will begin with a mehendi ceremony on August 9. The wedding date is set for August 10, and the reception will be hosted on August 11.
The couple posted an image of themselves at the beach with the caption, "Ten days till we say 'I do'".
