Alia Bhatt walked the red carpet for the first time at the Cannes Film Festival 2025, stunning the crowd in a vintage-inspired dusty-pink floral gown. Her ensemble was a part of Schiaparelli's collection titled Icarus in the Spring/Summer 2025 line. It was an off-the-shoulder gown with a lacey corseted bodice, a layered tulle mermaid tail, and adorned with delicate floral detailing all over. She let the gown be the star of the show, opting for simple pearl earrings and a couple of diamond rings.
As for hair, Bhatt sported a sleek bun, with the baby hair gelled on her forehead in soft twirls. Her makeup featured simple, muted pink tones that perfectly complemented the elegant femininity of the gown. The designer of her dress, Daniel Roseberry, told Vogue, “I think that, to me, it’s always about challenging the expectations of what makes a memorable moment—because we’ve done the break-the-internet thing."
Bhatt attended the premiere of the film The Mastermind, at the 78th Cannes Film Festival on May 23.
Look II: Celestial vibe
Following her mesmerising soft beauty on the red carpet, Alia Bhatt switched the game later in the day, channelling dark-feminine energy in a midnight-blue cosmic-inspired embellished tube gown and bejewelled headpiece by Armani Privé, The hems of the dress were adorned with striking gemstones that further elevated the look. Part of the brand's Spring Summer 25 collection, the ensemble radiated an 'old Hollywood charm' with its slender fit and eye-catching bling. She was styled by Rhea Kapoor.
Bhatt, who is at Cannes as L’Oréal Paris brand ambassador, attended the L’Oréal Lights on Women Award Ceremony. Her look paid tribute to L'Oréal Paris' ongoing initiative, launched in 2021, which celebrates emerging female short filmmakers through its annual awards ceremony held in the French Riviera.
