Singer Aditya Narayan and Shweta Agarwal had a low key Roka ceremony recently. The picture from the ceremony was shared online on Wednesday in which the two were accompanied by just by their respective families.
Aditya made his relationship with Shweta official on Wednesday and also announced their wedding in the same post. He wrote on Instagram, "We are getting married! I am the luckiest man alive to have found Shweta, my soulmate, 11 years ago & we are finally tying the knot in December. We are both extremely private people & believe that it's best to keep one's private life, well, private. Taking a break from social media for shaadi prep. See you in December."
After this post, the couple’s pictures from their Roka ceremony surfaced online. Shweta wore a pink salwar suit, Aditya complimented it with a grey shirt.
Earlier, Narayan was quoted by SpotboyE, “We’re getting married on December 1. Because of Covid-19, we can invite only close family and friends, since Maharashtra does not allow more than 50 guests to gather at a wedding.”

The couple made their film debut together with the 2010 film Shaapit. It was a horror film directed by Vikram Bhatt. Earlier Aditya had said in an interview to the Times of India about their love story. He had revealed, "I met Shweta on the sets of 'Shaapit' and we hit it off instantly. Slowly and gradually, I realised I was head-over-heels in love and started pursuing her.”
He further added, “Marriage is just a formality between us now, which hopefully should also happen by November or December. My parents know Shweta and like her a lot. I am happy that I have found my soulmate in her."
As per the report, the wedding festivities will be a three-day affair starting with the mehndi on November 29, followed by a temple wedding on December 1 and a reception on December 2 in Mumbai.
