Aarya Season 2 trailer was released on November 25, promising a gripping and bloody sequel to the hit 2020 web series. Starring Sushmita Sen, season 1 of Aarya was nominated for International Emmy Awards in the Best Drama Series category.

Season 2 of the show will see Sen reprise the titular role while actor Chandrachur Singh, who played the role of Aarya's husband, makes a special appearance via a video. Sikandar Kher is another cast member who will return for season 2.

Season 1 of the show introduced us to Aarya who is married to a Pharmaceutical baron who has his hands in the drugs business. When her husband Tej Sareen is gunned down, Aarya is forced to not only parent the couple's children singlehandedly but also take over his drug business in order to survive and exact revenge.
The trailer of season 2 tells us that Aarya is back in the town and this has only made her enemies angrier. When she is cornered and her family becomes a target, Aarya has to draw out her claws again, thus unleashing the menace. The trailer tells us that Aarya's weakness- her family, is also her greatest strength and she will go to any lengths to protect it.
When a character remarks that Aarya has now become a "don" she coolly responds, "I am just a working mother."

The second season of Aarya has been helmed by director Ram Madhvani along with Vinod Rawat and Kapil Sharma. Vishal Khurana has been credited for its music and original score while Sanyuktha Chawla Shaikh and Anu Singh Choudhary have been credited for the writing.

All the episodes of Aarya Season 2 will be available for streaming from December 10.
