Mrunal Thakur Film Aankh Micholi Announces Release Date
The film will be the story of a 'family of misfits' with a an ensemble cast including Mrunal Thakur, Abhimanyu Dassani, Sharman Joshi, Paresh Rawal, Divya Dutta, and others.
Mrunal Thakur and Abhimanyu Dassani's upcoming film Aankh Micholi announced its release date. The film will have a theatrical release in the summer of 2022.

The film which will be a light-hearted comedy will release on 13th May 2022 in the theatres the makers have announced. Directed by Umesh Shukla the film has an ensemble cast including Sharman Joshi, Paresh Rawal, Divya Dutta, and others. It has been written by Jitendra Parmar and the music is composed by Sachin-Jagir.
Thakur, who was earlier seen in the film Dhamaka, shared the film's motion poster and wrote, "Sony Pictures Films India unveils the release date of 2022’s big-ticket family entertainer #AankhMicholi. The film directed by Umesh Shukla is set to release in theatres on 13th May 2022."
As per reports, the film will be the story of a 'family of misfits'. Umesh Shukla has earlier worked on projects like OMG: Oh My God, 102 Not Out and Dhoondte Reh Jaoge among others. The film is produced by Sony Pictures Films India and Ashish Wagh's Merry Go Round Studios.
Thakur was recently seen in Dhamaka opposite Kartik Aaryan. Earlier she was seen in the Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra directorial Toofan. She played the role of a doctor and a supportive partner in the movie opposite Farhan Akhtar and garnered praise for her powerful performance.
In an interview with SheThePeople.TV, Thakur said that acting wasn't just her passion, but her life. When asked if she was drawn more towards realistic or extravagant roles, the actor said, “The audience’s taste is changing. They like watching things which are real.”
