Sussanne Khan Covid: The new variant of coronavirus, Omicron has gripped the world in fear since its identification by scientists in South Africa in November. The rising number of cases of the Omicron variant in India has ensured stricter guidelines and protocols to stop its spread. However, many people are testing positive for it and the list keeps increasing as more names from Bollywood gets added. Recently, Sussanne Khan has tested positive for Omicron.

Interior designer and ex-wife of Hrithik Roshan, Sussanne Khan like many celebrities shared the information on social media. She posted a picture of herself in workout attire with her right hand raised and fist clutched tight, symbolising strength.

Khan shared the picture on her Instagram feed and informed her followers of the unfortunate news. She wrote, “After dodging Covid-19 for 2 years, in the 3rd year of 2022 the stubborn Omicron variant has finally infiltrated my immune system. I tested positive last night. Please be safe and take care of yourselves diligently. This is a very contagious one.”

Khan posted this message on January 11 on her Instagram feed. Immediately, many celebrities took to the comment section wishing Khan and conveying their concern. Actor Tiger Shroff wrote, “Oh nooo get well soon!”

Television presenter Archana Vijaya Puri said, “Look after yourself! Get well soon!” Chef Vicky Ratnani wrote, “Hey please take care Suz. Lots of luv. Wishing you speedy recovery.” Amongst other well-wishers were actor Neelam Kothari Soni, artist Farah Khan Ali, actor Bipasha Basu and others.

Recently, a number of people from Bollywood have tested positive for Covid-19. Actor Mrunal Thakur, who was promoting her film Jersey with Shahid Kapoor also informed about testing positive on Instagram. Celebrities like Esha Gupta, Kubbra Sait, Vishal Dadlani, Swara Bhaskar, Nora Fatehi and Ekta Kapoor, amongst others have tested positive for coronavirus.

On Tuesday, 428 new Omicron cases were added to India’s tally of the new variant cases. The total caseload in the country now stands at 4,461, according to the Union Ministry of Health. Maharashtra is leading the tally with 1,247 Omicron cases, next is Rajasthan with 645, Delhi 546, Karnataka 476, amongst others.
