Women are considered equivalent to men in today’s generation. Many women are leading as entrepreneurs and creating jobs for others. Though this is existing situation in this contemporary world, women are still found to be victims in many cases and are bearing pain and loss in both personal and professional lives. The growing reach of the internet and the rapid spread of information through different devices have presented new opportunities that could put some women at risk. It’s important to be mindful towards the activities on internet because online world is open and it should be safe for us. Cyber threats against women should make us get involved to explore ways to stay safe.

THE CASE

The internet is a popular and integral part of everyday communication for women. It helps us to stay connected to other people in their lives like friends. It helps us to take a break and escape from pressure of personal and professional work. It fosters a strong sense of communication with their belongings. It makes us technologically advance and helps us to learn new information as well. The growing reach of the internet and the rapid spread of information through different devices have presented new opportunities that could put some women at risk.

THE RULES

Setting rules about using the internet is a mindful decision because the more you know, the easier it will be to connect and became a sufferer. As a safety rule never share your password with others or save it in your device. Never leave the webcam or social account opened or connected. Only share relevant and needed information not more than necessary. Block the people you don’t want to connect and most important update your devices regularly. It is very imperative to protect our online activities and comprehend the ways in which technology can concession our safety and stop us to become a fatality. To stay safe online does not need drastic steps, such as completely removing your online presence. You just need to know these steps and techniques to be safer online.

There’s never a good time to find our if  you have been hit by a cyber attack. These are vengeful and can melt your company or individual account down. Here are signs.

Beware of Scam emails.  Online threats are evolving all the time, so make sure you know what to look out for. Don't open emails you are unfamiliar with. Avoid opening click bait subjects that have come from an unknown address.

Watch Out for Stalking: No not just celebrities and politicians are stalked, you too could be. and having their devices hacked into, but businesses can also fall victim to this. So what is cyberstalking? It can take many forms, Methods can include use of email, instant messenger, chat rooms, websites, interactive portals, bots and social networking sites.

Share What You Must: We all suffer from oversharing. It's important for you to explore the Google list of what makes you keep your information and data safe. You are likely to use many different software packages to help with daily work or staying in your personal network. Cloud storage for one, and the many sites that also keep your inform. You need to be sure that you can trust these companies, software or platforms before committing to their services.
