Haryana Gears Up To Reopen Schools For Classes 3 to 5

The Haryana government is gearing up to reopen schools for classes 3 to 5 from 24 February. The directorate of school education gave orders for the restarting the schools in the state.

All government and primary private schools will reopen and function between 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM. Both offline and online modes of teaching will be available, and students can attend classes online if they wish so.

All the COVID-19 protocols such as checking the temperature of staff and students, wearing face masks and maintaining social distancing will be followed. Those with high temperature will be barred from entering the school premises.

Haryana reopens schools for classes Classes 6 to 8

Students from classes 6 to 8 started attending school on February 1. Schools had partially reopened for classes 9 to 12 in the middle of September. However, the surge in COVID-19 cases made Haryana shut down its schools. From mid-December onwards, schools started reopening for higher classes.

The number of COVID-19 cases have been reducing in the state, and no deaths have been reported in the last 24 hours. The state recoded 121 new cases on Sunday.

Karnataka to reopen schools for classes 6 to 8

The Karnataka Government has decided on reopening schools for classes 6 to 8 from February 22. It will be mandatory for students to present their COVID-19 negative reports to the school authorities.
