A Chennai woman travelled 30,000 kilometres and across four continents to deliver food from Singapore to Antarctica. The woman posted a video documenting her delivery journey on her social media.

Maanasa Gopal made the longest food delivery from Singapore to Antarctica and shared the journey on her Instagram account.

The video contained clips of Gopal boarding a flight from Singapore to Hamburg, Germany, From there, the women travelled to Buenos Aires, Argentina before finally reaching Antarctica.

The video shows Gopal trekking through snow and taking a boat to reach her delivery point, thus completing her journey across four continents and 30,000 kilometres.

Maanasa Gopal’s caption read, “I did a special food delivery to Antarctica from Singapore! It’s not every day that you get to deliver Singaporean flavours across 30,000+ km and 4 continents to one of the most remote places on earth!”

Throughout the video, Gopal was seen carrying a food packet in her hands.

The video was viewed more than 35,000 thousand times and had netizens intrigued. Some were curious about what the delivery food package contained.

Gopal wrote that she was partnered with Food Panda for the excursion to Antarctica to deliver food. In a previous post in 2021, Gopal had said she was aiming to raise funds for her Antarctic expedition and was looking for a brand to sponsor her.
