Woman Dancing In Delhi Metro

Delhi Metro has become the unsolicited platform for creators dancing, and making viral videos. One such video of a woman dancing is again viral on the internet. The woman can be seen dancing in the video to Neha Bhasin and the late Bappi Lahiri's song Asalaam-e-Ishqum. The video has been shared on the woman's official Instagram handle with her 6k followers, and is identified as Priya Sharma.

Sharma after coming in the news for flouting the rules of Delhi Metro, again posted yet another video of her dancing in a black dress with another young woman.

After the woman's first video went viral and made it to the news, the Internet had mixed opinions on it. While some appreciated her for her dance and confidence, others tagged the official Instagram handle of Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) under the video to take action against it.

One user commented that she is doing exactly what she has seen in Bollywood when leading actors dance in public then it would not be a problem, but when it translates into society there is a backlash.... hypocrisy at its best.

Another user commented "Super cool- why do some people object to everything? Chill guys"

While another user commented, "Nice try but do not repeat this. This needs to be stopped."

One another user commented pointing out where CISF Jawans were said to be installed to maintain law and order in Delhi Metro.

Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) issued notice months ago for commuters prohibiting them from shooting videos inside the metro. DMRC has issued several repetitive warnings as it causes inconvenience to other commuters travelling in the metro train, yet the people of Delhi and Delhi NCR don't seem to abide by these rules and keep dismaying the rules. However, DMRC is making efforts to spread awareness. They shared a meme template that had a catchy line "Metro mein travel kare trouble nahi" in Hindi Translated as: Travel in metro, do not cause trouble. DMRC also shared some interesting memes showing how shooting videos can be a headache and inconvenience for other commuters.
