The as-yet-unidentified woman is seen carrying the flailing lion that had escaped from its home in this clip taken on the streets of Sabahiya, which is located just south of Kuwait's capital city. She is seen firmly holding a lioness that is writhing and struggling in her arms.

In the video, which Arlong posted on Twitter, a woman is seen firmly holding onto a lion who is writhing and struggling. The incident took place on Sunday in the Sabahiya region, south of Kuwait City, when the lion broke free.

The video first appeared online in January 2022 but has since reappeared. It has received over 2.9 million views and a number of comments. While some people were shocked by the video, others thought the lion's actions were comparable to those of a domestic cat.

The lion in the video was reportedly being kept as a pet by the woman and her father when it unintentionally escaped and frightened locals as it wandered the streets, according to the Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Anba.

Local news reports state that when environmental police arrived on the scene and they assisted the woman in containing the large cat and bringing it back into captivity. Exotic animals are still widely kept as pets by many people, despite being prohibited in many Gulf states. However, more such heartbreaking videos can be found online, showing the animal being dragged while struggling and making distressed noises.
