Viral Video: Brazilian Women Falls In Sinkhole While Dancing

A startling video of a group of women falling into a sinkhole is doing rounds on the internet. During a birthday party in Brazil, a group of women while dancing fell into a sinkhole. The dreadful accident happened on September 24, in Alagoinhas, Brazil.

The video depicted women on a hurdle jumping up and down in a circle, and within no time a sinkhole appeared underneath them and swallowed them all up. And people around them screamed in shock. 

A sinkhole is a hole in the ground caused by some form of collapse of the surface layer. It is like an underground passage. Often occur when the ground under the land surface dissolves into groundwater. Sinkholes could as caused by human action, groundwater pumping, construction activities altering the natural ground structure and water drainage patterns can be a few reasons creating pressure and causing the crash. 

One of the victims, Epilator Gabriela Carvalho in a New York Post report said, "We were apparently dancing on the exact spot over the hole and we just fell right inside it."

Carvalho revealed what happen while they were dancing and from nowhere the sinkhole appeared. She also pointed out that all the women who emerged from the incident were uninjured. Also, something like this never occurred as they several times threw parties in that same spot. The report also claimed currently the sinkhole is under repairs. 

Sinkhole incidents are happening quite often leaving people in shock. A similar incident transpired earlier this year in Israel. 

A house party curled into a nightmare for guests as a sinkhole opened under the swimming pool. A man in the pool was sucked down a hole 43 feet deep. The video showed a 34-year-old male, who managed to escape, but another man was discovered dead. The other six individuals in the pool were left unharmed.
