Karnataka Woman Thrashes Man In Bus For Eve-Teasing

A viral video shows a woman beating a man inside a state-run bus in Karnataka. The video has been uploaded by a Twitter user who claims to be a co-passenger. A Twitter user uploaded a video of a woman thrashing an Eve teaser and captioned the incident in a Twitter thread.

The incident occurred near a bus stand in Mandya, Karnataka. It was reported that a man tried to tease a woman co-passenger and inappropriately touch her.

In the viral video, a woman can be seen first angrily shouting at a man, then grabbing by the collar, and slapping him non-stop. The woman warned him to stop but as the man continued to harass her, agitated by the man, the woman retaliated taking the matter into her own hands.

In the visuals, co-passengers can be seen capturing the video of the scene while the woman thrashes an eve teaser and does not seem to intervene as the man ran away. Two men tried to stop the fleeting abuser but he managed to escape. No actions are yet taken and the man remained unidentified.

A Twitter user claimed that another such incident happened a few days back in Kerela and security for women must not be neglected even in local transport during day times. Internet applauds calling her "Braveheart" and "wonder woman".

While some other Twitter users criticized the incident calling out the co-passengers for capturing and posting about the incident yet not helping the woman as she was fighting alone for her basic rights.
