A similar moment was captured at the graduation ceremony of NYU that was held on May 18, 2022, when a girl decided to capture the happiness of graduating with renowned singer Taylor Swift in a video that went viral. It was a dream come true for the batch of 2022 of the New York University as they shared their graduation with the singing sensation.
NYU Graduation: Girl Graduates With Taylor Swift In Viral Video
Taylor Swift is now Dr Taylor Swift as the singing sensation graduated from NYU on May 18 with a Doctorate in Fine Arts. The ceremony held at the Yankee Stadium was a memorable event for all those who got a once in a lifetime opportunity to graduate with a star. A girl named Kiran who also graduated from NYU the same day was present during the ceremony and shot a video of her memorable moment.
Kiran goes by the user name @cybersecurity.girl on Instagram and she shared a video of her graduation ceremony from NYU that read "POV: you are graduating with Dr Taylor Swift" with the caption, "I cannot shut up about this, literally a dream come true- #22graduatesversion #taylorswift #nyu #nyu2022".
The video showed Kiran in a purple coloured graduation gown and black hat. Then it showed Taylor Swift walking through a passage at the graduation venue waving at the fans and her fellow graduates with a smile. Kiran is a Science graduate in Cyber Security and joined NYU through the New Cyber Fellows scholarship.
The video went viral and has garnered 1.4 M likes and 1,928 comments till now. Everyone congratulated Kiran and mentioned how lucky she was in the comments section.
A user wrote, "Lucky girl and the whole batch graduating". While another user thought it was something to boast about as they wrote, "I would write in my resume "graduated with Taylor Swift". Well, not everyone can be Kiran but all you can do is hope.
