German Woman Dancing In A Saree To Falguni Pathak's Chudi

 Many people from various countries have been recreating various other foot-tapping Indian dance numbers. Recently, a video of a German woman wearing a saree and dancing to Falguni Pathak’s Chudi is doing rounds on the internet and receiving a lot of applauds.

German Woman's Bollywood Dance

The dancer, Naina, posted the video of her dancing and wrote, "This song! I added some steps of my own for this trend, do you like them? Would you like to see more trends or some nostalgic Bollywood dances again? Let me know in the comments." The video has gained over one million views over the past month and has gone viral on social media.

The comment section was filled with praise and love. A user wrote, "This takes me back to my childhood. All those Bollywood films we would watch. Thank you for appreciating our culture." "Beautiful you, beautiful dance, and beautiful expressions!" wrote another user. A third user commented, "Super cute. Love the end!"

Naina’s bio reads, "Just a German girl living her Bollywood fantasy." Her page is filled with many more videos of her dancing to famous Indian songs. On India’s Republic Day, she posted a video of herself dancing to Kajol’s Des Rangila. She has also performed saree dances to songs such as London Thumakda and Aap ka Dhadkana.

Naina has Besharam Rang from Pathaan, Arabic Kuthu from Beast, and the evergreen Barso Re from Guru, among many other songs. In some videos, Naina is joined by TikTok-famous dancer Sarah.

Foreigners Dancing To Indian Songs

Back in June 2022, the video of a group of Norwegian men dancing to hit numbers including Kala Chashma, Chura Ke Dil Mera, and Kana Yaari went viral on the internet. The video gained 30 million likes. The video was posted by artist Yasin Tatby.

Jainil Mehta, a choreographer by profession, is breaking stereotypes by posting videos of himself dancing in the streets of New York wearing a skirt. One of his many videos that went viral is of him dancing to Dola Re with dancer Alex Wong. Janil Mehta has also danced to Jhume Re Ghori from Gangubai Kathiyawadi and various other Bollywood hit numbers.
