An adorable and heart-lifting video of an elderly woman dancing enthusiastically has gone viral.

It was first shared by Sexual Health Educator Swati Jagdish on Instagram. According to Jagdish, the clip was received through WhatsApp and is believed to have originated from the village of Ethanur Kummatti in Kerala.

The video captures the exuberance of an elderly woman who is gleefully participating in an event. She joyfully jumps up and down, moving her head and waving her hands to the rhythmic beat. Even while seated, she cannot resist moving her feet to the music, drawing the attention of the onlookers. The woman keeps on dancing with excitement, unable to contain her enthusiasm.

The footage seemed to originate from a traditional religious ceremony held at Ethanur Kummatti, a temple situated in Palakkad, Kerala. This video depicts the backdrop of this adorned temple with a large crowd. When several musicians performed the Chenda Melam, this elderly woman stood nearby and danced to her heart's content. The video has amassed an impressive count of 391K views, with 43.5K individuals expressing fondness towards it, and many leaving comments and heart emojis.

According to a statement from a Twitter user, there are some women in Mangaluru and Bantwal who perform a traditional dance ritual known as Pili Nalike, which translates to "tiger dance." These women are considered to be exemplary individuals. They are remarkable ladies in their 60s and 70s and observing them brings great pleasure and satisfaction to onlookers.

One person expressed their admiration, stating that it was excellent. Witnessing women like this on multiple occasions has significantly boosted their self-confidence and self-esteem.
