However, a young girl's letter to Santa has been making the rounds on the internet, and we're here to tell you that she makes no requests for herself.

The 8-year-old girl's letter to Santa Claus has gone viral and touched the hearts of internet users. Last month, a woman from the UK posted her niece's letter to Santa Claus on Twitter. The tweet caption read, "My sister just found this letter to Santa, written by her 8-year-old daughter. It's made me cry a lot to think that someone so young is even thinking about this."

Instead of requesting gifts for herself, the compassionate girl asked Santa to help her parents financially because they were "struggling with bills and mortgages." The little girl's note read, "To Santa, all I want for Christmas is some money for Mummy and Daddy. They struggle with bills and mortgages. I even feel sad. Please, please Santa can you make it work? I know it's a lot though I'm sorry. Love Emmie." In her letter to Santa, Emmie also included some sad emojis. See the tweet here.

The heartbreaking letter brought tears to everyone's eyes online. Many people were moved by the heartfelt letter, while others were astounded by the young girl's generosity and consideration. "Tears and everything. How can they expect us to survive this is cruel," a user commented. Another user wrote, "Kids always see life in the most simple of ways AND tell it as it is - this kid is 8 years old…….they shouldn’t be having to worry about their parent's finances!"
