Throwback: Watch Parineeti Chopra Sing Patriotic Song On Doordarshan

In the modern age of the Internet, fans are good at digging up past videos, photographs, or even Tweets and comments of celebrities and re-surfacing them on the internet. Newly wedded Parineeti Chopra has been a victim of it recently when a past interview clip of Chopra saying she would "never" date a politician surfaced during her wedding news. 

As these celebrity gossip and internet trends change in the blink of an eye, a new video of Parineeti Chopra has now surfaced on the internet. And worry not, this time it is a delightful surprise as an old video of Chopra from 2004.

Chopra has been stockpiled with praises for her recent performance in Imtiaz Ali's biographical drama on late Punjabi folksinger Amar Singh Chamkila. Chopra who played the role of Amarjot Chamkila, wife of the protagonist singer opposite Diljeet Dosanjh in titular role has accumulated a lot of praise for her role in the film. 

While we all know Chopra's expertise in singing, this viral video from Doordarshan has taken everyone by surprise with young Chopra endearing on the sets of Doordarshan, confidently delivering a song with a group of other singers as well. 

The 35-year-old actor's video from 2004 has sent everyone the nostalgia of 90s looks with her bob fringes over the face and simple satin churidars. Chopra was just 16 when the video was shot, years before her film debut in Ladies Vs Vicky Behal in 2011. Singing a patriotic song Desh Ki Sewa, Chopra appeared for a Doordarshan special segment that none of us noticed until the video resurfaced on the internet. 

Chopra looks evidently recognisable with not much difference in her present-day looks even and many fans are in awe with the fact of unchanged looks as they flooded the comments as a comment read: "Gosh!! She hasn't changed a bit! Face is exactly the same." while another comment read: "Ye konsa battery stopper lagaya hua hai isne (What has she used to stop ageing)?"
