Chicago: Plane Grounded After Woman Strips Naked, Defecates On Seat

A female passenger on a Southwest Airlines plane allegedly stripped down naked and defecated on the seat while landing, according to NBC News. The incident occurred on April 26 on flight 418 from Philadelphia to Chicago. Police officers were called to Chicago’s Midway Airport as the woman took off all her clothes and emptied her bowels on the seat, shocking the cabin. The plane was "grounded for deep cleaning," the report said. Southwest Airlines released a statement apologising to the fellow passengers.

The airline statement read, “Our teams are reaching out to those onboard to apologise for the situation and any delay to their travel plans. Nothing is more important to Southwest than the safety of our customers and employees, and we appreciate the professionalism of our flight crew." NBC News did not mention what happened to the passenger. 

Similar bizarre incidents on aeroplanes

Oddly, this was not the first time that a passenger stripped naked on a plane. In March, another woman paraded naked on a Southwest Airlines flight from Houston to Phoenix. Videos circulated on social media, showing the woman marching down the aisle with no clothes on. A post on X claimed that she did that for about 25 minutes before authorities intervened.

In another incident from November 2023, a woman took off her pants and threatened to urinate in the plane's aisle during an altercation. A heated altercation erupted on a Frontline Airlines plane when the woman, who was being told to wait before using the restroom, took off her pants and threatened to relieve herself right in the aisle. 

In a video posted on social media, the woman was seen unashamedly saying, "Sorry, everybody," before pulling down her pants in front of everyone. The New York Post reported that the woman passenger began abusing all the other passengers on the plane and screamed at the flight attendant to let her use the restroom.
