Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello are heading for divorce seven years after they tied the knot. "We have made the difficult decision to divorce," the stars said in a statement to Page Six.
The actors revealed that although they have grown apart from each other, they will continue to love and care for one another.

The actors told Page Six about their separation, "We have made the difficult decision to divorce. As two people that love and care for one another very much, we politely ask for the respect of our privacy at this time as we navigate this new phase of our lives."
Meanwhile, a source close to the stars told Page Six, "Sofia and Joe have been growing apart for a while now and are taking some distance from each other to contemplate their future."
The actors got married in Palm Beach in 2015, in the presence of their close friends and family, which also included the cast of Modern Family. A lot of rumours had been surfing about the silent separation of the actors over the Internet since the time Vergara posted pictures from her 51st Birthday celebrations in Italy this month, and Manganiello was nowhere seen in the pictures. It also struck the audience when Manganiello wished his wife in a very simple way.
Vergara is best known for her role as Gloria in Modern Family, started her career as a host and now can also be seen as a judge at America’s Got Talent. Manganiello started his acting career with his role in Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man. The actors met in 2014 at the White House Correspondents Association dinner. It took no time for the actors to fall in love and get married next year.
