Madonna's speech drew inspiration from the renowned writer James Baldwin, whose work has consistently explored issues of race, identity, and humanity. In her address, Madonna underlined the idea that children all over the world belong to everyone, transcending boundaries of nationality, ethnicity, and religion. Regardless of their background or beliefs, she emphasised that these young lives are a shared responsibility of humanity.

She said, "What's happening right now between Israel and Palestine is heartbreaking,” Madonna added, "I turn on social media and I want to vomit. I see children being kidnapped, pulled off motorcycles; babies being decapitated, children at peace raves being shot and killed. How can human beings be so cruel to one another? It frightens me."

The singer also highlighted a particularly tragic incident that had occurred in Chicago, further emphasising the urgency of her message. In this incident, a six-year-old boy named Wadea Al-Fayoume was brutally stabbed due to his religious affiliation, which Madonna described as a hate crime. She passionately urged the audience and society at large to hold onto their humanity, even in the darkest of times.

Madonna's call to action during her performance was an impassioned plea to her fans and the world at large. She encouraged her audience, emphasising that every individual is akin to a candle with the power to bring light to the world. Her message was one of empowerment, underscoring the idea that collective action can ignite a profound transformation in the world.

Madonna's heartfelt plea deeply resonated with the concertgoers, who responded with overwhelming support and solidarity. As a symbol of their unity, the audience lit up the arena, sending a powerful message of hope, compassion, and collective responsibility.
