Millionaire financier Jeffrey Epstein was convicted of jarring accusations involving sexual offence and paedophilia. He was known for his network with some of America's most important celebrity personalities. He was arrested in Florida in 2005 for accusations of paying a 14-year-old girl for sex. In 2019, Epstein died of suicide in a New York correctional centre before his trial.

Names Exposed In Epstein Documents

The documents revealing the names of hundreds of individuals associated with Epstein in his crimes remained sealed for years. They were presented in 2015 during the trial and arrest of Ghislaine Maxwell who was found guilty for her involvement in Epstein's activities.

Epstein reportedly sexually abused hundreds of women and girls on a private island he owned called Little Saint James in the U.S. Virgin Islands. The unsealed document revealed the names of individuals who travelled to these islands with him. Here are some names uncovered from the document by Judge Loretta A. Preska.

Bill Clinton: The former US President was named over 50 times in the document, exposing allegations of baiting minor girls with Epstein. The ABC News reported that Clinton's name was revealed in association with a 2015 lawsuit by Virginia Giuffre against Epstein. An excerpt of the legal record against Clinton was released online.

Prince Andrew: A woman who was victimised by Epstein alleged that Prince Andrew put his hand on her breast at Epstein's Manhattan townhouse in 2001.

Glenn Dubin: Virginia Giuffre also accused hedge-fund owner Glenn Dubin of sexual abuse. She also named a few others including former US Senator George Mitchell and former New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson.

Michael Jackson: A woman called Johanna Sjoberg, who accused G. Maxwell of hiring her to have sex with Epstein when she was 20 years old, said that Michael Jackson was also present at the property during this ordeal. She also said that magician David Copperfield was there too.

Bill Gates: Gates allegedly visited Epstein Island several times, according to a report in The Wall Street Journal. He was named in the document for having an affair with a bridge player named Mila Antonova in the early 2010s, while he was still married to Melinda

After the affair ended, Epstein reportedly emailed Gates in 2017 requesting that he reimburse him for the cost of the schooling. Melinda revealed in an interview that she ended the marriage with Gates because of his association with Epstein.

Naomi Campbell: Renowned model Naomi Campbell allegedly had an affair with Epstein in the early 2000s. He also allegedly baited girls aspiring to step into the modelling industry, knowing Campbell's reach in the industry.

Her spokesperson later told WSJ that Campbell "had no idea Epstein was using her name to attract young girls interested in modelling, and as he did with many others, he overstated their acquaintanceship... She deeply regrets having had any contact with Epstein after his conviction.”

A French modelling agent called Jean-Luc Brunel was also accused of grooming and raping underage models and girls including Giuffre. He was said to have close ties with Epstein.

Ex-Harvard professor Alan Dershowitz was also named in the document as Epstein's associate. Dershowitz was accused of having sex with a minor on several occasions. He took to X (Twitter) to refute the claims of his involvement with Epstein.

Noam Chomsky: The scholar-writer was accused of arranging several meetings with Epstein in 2015 and 2016 when he was a faculty at MIT, where Epstein had donated thousands of dollars. The scheduled meetings included a flight with Epstein aboard his private jet to New York for a dinner at his townhouse.

In an interview with WSJ Chomsky responded, "..first response is that it is none of your business. Or anyone’s. Second is that I knew him and we met occasionally.”

Google co-founder, Sergey Brin was also named in the document, as he arranged several meetings with Epstein from 2004 to 2007. According to a court filing, Epstein advised Brino n how to set up a tax shelter — a tax-saving trust for Brin’s kids called a grantor-retained annuity trust, or GRAT — with bankers at JPMorgan Chase.
