Zara Tindall Journey: Olympics, Honours and a Clothing Line!

Zara Tindall has become a world champion and was conferred with Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (MBE) a civilian or a military honour. She was awarded this honour due to her incomparable equestrian skills and merits in the respective sport in national and international levels. Some fans have mentioned how her unique equestrian skills are innate due to her parents Anne and Mark, who themselves are famous and adept equestrians in national and international level respectively. It is also a little known fact that to fund her equestrian career after graduating from University of Exeter, Tindall bagged a sponsorship.

In 2012, Zara Tindall won a silver medal in the Summer Olympics where she represented the Great Britain eventing team. Even though this was her first Olympics as the first British of the Royal lineage to participate, she was selected for the Great Britain team in 2004 and 2008 Summer Olympics as well. The reason she couldn't turn up was due to accidents and injuries of her horse, Toytown during practises in both 2004 and 2008 Olympics.

Apart from her sporting endeavours she also owns a clothing line. In 2010, the very year when she faced an accident during a competition, Zara launched her own equestrian clothing range named 'ZP176.' This has been a very unique name and she has mentioned how this was her first number when she started representing her country as an equestrian. Her clothing range was launched for the brand Musto Outdoor Clothing, a very renowned brand for sports and outdoor wear.

Along with this, she has multiple endorsements, sponsorships and also funds many charities and NGOs as a philanthropist.

Zara shares three children with her husband, former professional rugby player Mike Tindall, whom she wed in 2011. Their first daughter, Mia, was born in 2014, followed by their second daughter, Lena, in 2018 and their son, Lucas, in 2021. Following the birth of their third child, Mike described parenthood as a “massive shock” that changed their relationship.
