There is one such influencer whose job is to spend an enormous amount of her parent's money and make videos of her luxurious life and post them on social media.

Roma Abdesselam, a 26-year-old from New York, is a "professional stay-at-home daughter" who spends money earned by her parents on buying luxury items. She claims it to be the title of her "job". This money she spends is from her parents and nothing is known about what her parents do for her to be able to spend as large a sum as around Rs 40 lakh every day.

While she has reportedly said that her parents have, at times, blocked her access to their money, she has also admitted that the financial curfew doesn't last long and she is able to continue spending once again.

A popular social media influencer, Roma makes videos of her luxurious sprees including shopping at expensive brands like Chanel, Dior, Gucci and Prada, spa and grooming sessions at expensive stores, vacations at expensive locations and stays at luxurious hotels, private pilates sessions and facial grooming appointments.

The influencer, reportedly, earns a decent income reportedly from her marketers that focus on an influencer's audience reach and views.

Roma did not intend on doing this job from the beginning, she had earlier thought of starting her own makeup brand before the pandemic. However, COVID-19 changed her plans and she ended up being a stay-at-home daughter earning money by spending money on luxurious items.
