The song has been recorded at her home. It starts rather abruptly with a close-up of the actress singing and it is interspersed with visuals from around the world. These visuals reflect the murkiness the coronavirus has brought us in and how warriors are at the forefront to fight away the deadly disease. The dancing diva of Bollywood has left her fans awestruck with the melodious voice she had not revealed until now. She has garnered praise from all over the country including many other stars from the industry.

She posted the video on Instagram with the caption, "#Candle Out Now! Happy, excited & a little nervous! Here's my first ever song, out for all of you to enjoy. #Candle out now exclusively on Facebook and Instagram. Hope you love it as much as we enjoyed creating it!"

Madhuri Dixit had announced the release of the song on her birthday. She said, "When I was growing up, music was something that played an integral part in our household. It gave me the inspiration to be a part of so many amazing things in life. So on my birthday, I decided to release the teaser and share the sneak peek of the song with my fans." Before this, she had released a small rendition of Ed Sheeran's Perfect wherein her son Arin Nene played the piano. This small video was lauded by her fans motivating the actress to launch her first single.

"When I was growing up, music was something that played an integral part in our household. It gave me the inspiration to be a part of so many amazing things in life. So on my birthday, I decided to release the teaser and share the sneak peek of the song with my fans."

The song is being hailed as a ray of hope for the lyrics that tend to reinvigorate our strength and 'burn like fire'. It compared the human vigour to 'a candle in the rain or in a hurricane', whose flame keeps rising even in extreme surroundings. The too-loud music at some places culls out the impact it could have had. Nevertheless, the song does light one up and makes them think about those who have been risking their lives to save ours. The single ends with the message, "This is dedicated to all of those fighting on the frontlines. They are the real heroes today. We need to burn bright like candles through the hurricane and emerge stronger together."
