National Popcorn Day 2022, according to magazines from the 1980s,  it occurs on January 31st, not January 19th. Since January 19, 1980, National Popcorn Day has always seemed to fall on the same day as the Super Bowl. Finally, in 2003, a new publication declared January 19th to be National Popcorn Day, and the date has stayed ever since!
