The Chief Minister of Karnataka in his statement on Thursday said that government is taking the case seriously and called it an unfortunate event. The CM ensured that the accused persons in the case will be caught and put on trial.
As per the FIR registered in the case, the survivor and her boyfriend were attacked by a group of men during their visit to Chamundi Hills in the outskirts of Mysuru on Tuesday. The robbers reportedly asked for money and the couple refused.
