Bombay High Court dismissed the petition which was seeking a court-monitored CBI probe into the death of Disha Salian. 

Disha’s father Satish Salian has also written to the Mumbai Police, seeking action against journalists who are spreading “fake news” about her death.

“While we continue to grieve our loss, we have only one request to everyone. Kindly help us heal by not encouraging, entertaining or spreading the fake rumours and news circulating around on social media by people who clearly have turned insensitive”

Disha Salian, who was a celebrity manager in the Hindi film industry, had reportedly been battling with depression.
