Rylee Goodrich was shot dead suspiciously on July 26 during a shooting in California, United States at a screening of the film The Forever Purge. Reportedly, she was present with her friend who is a social media influencer, Anthony Bajaras who was also allegedly attacked.

Reportedly, the investigating officers stated that no gun was found on the site of the incident. The employees of the theatre were the first to reach the site who went in as an attempt to clean up after the audience left.

The officials added that the motive of the shooting and the possible shooter(s) and whether the incident was a murder are being investigated.

It was further reported that only six tickets were purchased during the entire screening slot for the film.

"When there are only six people in a movie theatre, to me, "Goodrich's cousin said, "that’s not what I imagine someone that’s not going with intentions to kill someone to do."

Friend of famous TikToker Bajaras, Goodrich succumbed to her injuries on July 26. Reportedly, she was a teen volleyball enthusiast as well as a cheerleader of STEM at an Arizona college.

According to ABC7, Goodrich was given a scholarship to Grand Canyon University in the STEM program.

Ashley Cole, who is Goodrich's cousin, said that she was a teenager who had a "great heart" and enjoyed helping others.

The teenager, according to her official Instagram account, owned her own business of artificial eyelashes. Her business was named Lashed by RY and the business account held 196 followers while Goodrich herself had more than 2,550 followers in the app.
