Who Was Charlotte Angie? Italian-Dutch Adult Actor Found Dead

Carol Maltesi, better known by her stage name Charlotte Angie, was allegedly murdered in Brescia, Italy, while recording sex films. She was 26 years old and the mother of a single kid when she died. Her dismembered remains were discovered on Monday (March 21) after being thrown from a rocky cliff, according to reports. Angie's death has been linked to a 43-year-old man's arrest.

Reportedly, police made an arrest on Tuesday (March 29) after 15 thawed body parts were discovered in rubbish bags in a ditch in Northern Italy. On Tuesday, investigators apprehended Davide Fontana, a 43-year-old Milan bank employee, after uncovering inconsistencies in his story.

According to the NL Times, Fontana alleged that he was making two violent sex tapes with Angie when she died. He allegedly then assaulted her severely before slitting her throat. The upsetting encounter was reportedly captured on his phone, but it was later deleted. Experts in forensics may be able to recover the footage that has gone missing.

Fontana's name came up when Angie went missing after failing to show up for work at a nightclub. He confessed to her death later and was arrested on multiple charges, including homicide, earlier this week on March 29, as per reports. 

Fontana allegedly kept a regular presence on Angie's phone and paid her rent to maintain the illusion that she was still alive. He had her bagged remains disposed of in Brescia when the investigation into Angie's death began, as per reports.

Who was Charlotte Angie?

Charlotte Angie was a member of the band OnlyFans and has acted in several pornographic films. She was last spotted outside her home in Rescaldina, near Milan, in January. Angie, a mother of a six-year-old girl, reportedly began acting in pornographic films after losing her job during the pandemic. Early this year, she began dating her next-door neighbour, Davide Fontana, but the relationship ended shortly, as per reports.

According to the NL Times, Angie's remains were identified in March by journalist Andrea Tortelli after officials provided a description of her. He called his relatives and used images to prove her identity, after which he went to the Italian police.
