Former Tamil and Telugu film actor Richa Langella gave birth to a baby boy on May 27. She announced her pregnancy in February this year with her husband and grad schoolmate Joe Langella. On Saturday she shared a picture of her baby boy with an adorable caption. Know more about the former Tollywood actor.
Announcing the birth of her baby boy, Richa Langella wrote in the social media post, "Our little bundle of joy, Luca Shaan Langella, made his perfect entrance into the world on May 27th, 2021! Mommy and Daddy are doing great and are so madly in love with our sweet little bean burrito."
The former actor further added, "He is a happy, healthy boy and looks just like his dad, but with mom's nose and hair."
Who is Richa Langella?
- Richa Langella was born Antara Gangopadhyay. Her parents were both settled and working in the US since 1989. Langella was raised in Pennsylvania and Michigan.
- She went to do Dietetics and Health Administration at Michigan State University. But instead, she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Communications with a minor in Theatre Arts.
- Later she moved to Mumbai and got herself a diploma from Anupam Kher's acting school and started her acting journey in South Indian films.
- She worked as an actor and model prominently for Tamil and Telugu films. After doing commercials actively, she made her debut in 2010 with the Telugu political drama film Leader.
- Richa further also did hit movies like the Dabangg remake, Osthe (2012) and the critically acclaimed film Mayakkam Enna (2012), directed by Selvaraghavan. She received several 'Best Actress' awards for her work.
- Antara Gangopadhyay married her grad schoolmate Joe Langella after leaving the Telugu and Tamil film industry to pursue her MBA and focus on a long-term career in business management.
