Who is Pavala Syamala? An actor hailing from Andra Pradesh. Since 1984, she has been playing supporting roles in Telugu films. Her debut movie was Babai Abbai. She is currently living in a rented house with her daughter.

They are both reportedly ill and suffering from extreme financial difficulty. After the well-known artist, Karate Kalyani got to know about Syamala's situation, she did her part to help her. She also intends to get help through the Movie Artist Association (MAA).

1. Family and Education

Pavala Syamala was born in a Brahmin family. She lost her mother when she was a child and her husband died after the birth of their daughter. She has studied till standard 10.

2. Financial distress

This is not the first time Syamala is dealing with financial distress. She faced something similar in 2016 as well. At that time, she sought help from donors. Reportedly, actor-director Pawan Kalyan helped her with a sun of Rs. 1 Lakh.

The Chief Minister of Telangana, K. Chandra Sekhar Rao contributed Rs. 20,000 to help her. He even arranged for a monthly pension of Rs. 10,000 for her and promised a two-bedroom house from the side of the government. But the actor claimed that she has not been receiving her pension regularly.

3. How is Pavala Syamala coping with her current situation?

Pavala Syamala is currently undergoing another financial crisis and has not managed to pay the rent of her house for the past three months. During her 35-year-long career, she acted in about 250 films and received several awards. She had to sell away all her accolades to manage her financial status.

4. Colleagues who offered help

As the Tollywood actor is trying to cope up with her present condition, her colleagues have come forward and extended a helping hand towards her.

Actor Jeevan Kumar took to his Twitter handle to state that he wanted to meet Pavala Syamala as a fellow artist but he had to meet her to offer her some help so that she could sustain the lockdown. He helped her with some basic essentials and cash.

Another co-worker and dancer, Mahesh shared a video on his Twitter handle and requested eminent personalities and associations to help Syamala.
