Playback singer Palak Muchhal is all set to begin the construction of a hospital where treatment for the underprivileged will be done free of cost.

Taking to her social media handles, Muchhal announced, "Elated to share with you that my dream of building a hospital is taking a concrete shape, where treatment will be given free of cost to those who can't afford the medical care. The construction work is stepping into the next stage... need your blessings". Her fans have all appreciated her for her move.

  1. Palak Mucchal is a playback singer who predominately sings for Bollywood movies. She is well known for raising funds for poverty-stricken children in need of financial assistance for the treatment of heart diseases. She started contributing towards the cause since her childhood by putting up stage shows. Her charity organisation is known as 'Palak Muchhal Heart Foundation'. Muchhal has now reached the milestone of 21 years of saving lives and has reportedly helped more than 2000 children with their heart surgeries.
  2. Muchhal's social service has been recognised by the Government of India and other public institutions through different honours and awards. She has also secured a place in the Guinness Book of World Records and Limca Book of world records for her achievements in social work.
  3. At the age of four, Muchhal became a member of a group of young singers, Kalyanji-Anandji Little Star.   5. Palak can sing in 17 languages. These include Hindi, Sanskrit, Odia, Assamese, Rajasthani, Bengali, Malayalam, Punjabi, Marathi and so on.
