Actor and pop Singer Olivia Rodrigo has won three awards at the 64th Annual Grammy Awards. She won her Grammys in the Best Pop Solo Performance, Best Pop Vocal Album and Best New Artist categories. This new pop sensation was expected to score big at the music awards as she was named 2021 Entertainer of the Year by Time magazine and Woman of the year 2022.

Olivia Rodrigo rose to fame when she played the role of Nini Salazar-Roberts in High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, in November 2019. Being involved in the production of the show's soundtrack, she wrote "All I Want" and "Just for a Moment" with co-star Joshua Bassett. Her performance as well as her music was widely appreciated by the audience. Her debut song "Drivers Licence", went on to become a massive hit within the week of its release.

In her acceptance speech, at the Grammys, Olivia thanked all of her supporters, her team, and songwriters, stating, "Thank you to everyone at Interscope, especially John Janick, for believing in me and my songwriting before anything else." She also thanked her parents and best friend's saying, "I love you guys. She then expressed gratitude towards fellow songwriter Dan Nigro saying, "a huge thanks to Dan (Nigro), who made all of my music with me, Dan, you are the best friend, collaborator, and person I could ever ask for, so this is all because of you, so thank you."

Drivers license broke Spotify's record twice for most daily streams ever for a non-holiday song, and for the first song in history platform's history to hit 80 million streams in seven days. It also debuted at number one on Billboard Hot 100 and reached number one in several countries worldwide. Today, the song also grabbed her a Grammy for the Best Pop Solo Performance at the 64th Annual Grammy Awards.

At the 64th Annual Grammy Award, Olivia Rodrigo has hinted at new releases soon stating -" Sour just felt like such a distinct era in my life, and I felt like I wanted to give the songs and album time to breathe," she said. "And yeah, I'm excited to create a new era of my music. I really like the way the album existed as a body of work."
