Who Is Nupur Sarika? Fashion Designer Arrested By NCB In Drugs-On-Cruise Case

Who Is Nupur Sarika: Nupur Sarika is among the eight people detained in the drugs case which also involves Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan and producer Gauri Khan's son Aryan Khan also. It all started when NCB raided the Goa-bound ship on the evening of 2 October and recovered drugs Mephedrone, Charas, cocaine, and Ecstasy from some of the passengers.

Besides Khan and Sarika, the rest of the six people detained for interrogation are Arbaaz Merchant, Mohak Jaswal, Munmun Dhamecha, Vikrant Chhoker, Ismeet Singh, and Gomit Chopra.

Here’s what you need to know about Nupur Sarika

• Nupur is from Delhi and is a fashion designer.
• She has been arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) and will be produced before a court in Mumbai on 4 October. This will be done after their medical examination has been conducted.
• “Khan and others were on the cruise ship where the agency busted a rave party,” NCB zonal director Sameer Wankhede said.
• The party she was attending on the passenger cruise ship was organised by a Delhi-based company on October 2, 3 and 4.
• According to NCB, 13 grams of cocaine, 21 grams of charas, 22 pills of MDMA and 5 grams of MD were found in the raid conducted. Sarika besides her had hidden the drugs in their clothes, undergarments and purses.
• The raids started at 10 am on the morning of October 2 and and went on for 4 hours.
• According to some reports, the initial scanning of Aryan Khan’s phone has revealed messages showing that he was regularly ordering and even consuming drugs.
• According to a top source, there were other celebrities too who were no on the cruise but they have not been detained since they didn't possess drugs.
