Who is Mariana Podgurskaya: The Russian Embassy in the UK claimed that the woman climbing down the stairs after the attack at the maternity ward of a hospital at Mariupol, Ukraine faked her injuries with makeup. The Ukrainian woman identifies herself as Mariana Podgurkaya who is a beauty blogger. Russians have been taking a dig at the pregnant beauty blogger who gave birth to her daughter after surviving the attacks at the hospital.

Russians are trolling the Ukrainian beauty blogger who goes by the name Mariana Podgurskaya as the Russian Embassy in the UK claimed she staged her injuries for a "photoshoot" amid the war. "How much did you get paid for a photoshoot against the backdrop of a destroyed maternity hospital," read one of the comments on her photographs during the aftermath of the attack.

The Embassy's post which claimed that the woman staged her injuries has been removed by Twitter since it violated their community guidelines. Nadine Dorries, the UK Culture Secretary, also reportedly criticised the Russian embassy's remarks over the Ukrainian beauty blogger which claimed that the photographs were supposedly taken by a "propagandist".

The Ukrainian beauty blogger reportedly gave birth to her daughter Veronika on Thursday, March 10 after she survived the Russian attacks at her maternity ward in Mariupol. One of her relatives told The Daily Beast that her daughter has been named after Nike, the Greek goddess of victory since they believe in Ukraine's victory.

Mariana Podgurskaya is a Ukrainian beauty blogger who survived the Russian attacks at her hospital in Mariupol and gave birth to her daughter soon after. Podgurskaya announced her pregnancy in January as she wrote in her caption, "Our little happiness is already on the way and I decided to share this good news with you." The blogger was already few weeks pregnant when she shared the news with her fans.
