Jhanak Shukla, best known for her role in the popular TV show Karishma Ka Karishma, married her longtime boyfriend, Swapnil Suryawanshi, in an intimate ceremony on December 12. For the wedding, Jhanak embraced tradition in a stunning red saree adorned with a golden border, radiating bridal elegance. Swapnil perfectly complemented her in a classic white sherwani. 1. Jhanak Shukla was born on 24 January 1996 to documentary filmmaker Haril Shukla and actor Supriya Shukla.
2. In 2003, she bagged her first role in the Bollywood film Kal Ho Naa Ho alongside actor Shah Rukh Khan and Preity Zinta. She portrayed Gia Kapur, the adopted daughter Jaya Bachchan.
3. She starred in the movie Deadline: Sirf 24 Ghante (2006) in which she played the role of Anishka Goenka.
4. Jhanak Shukla has also modeled for various advertisements which also includes one for ICICI.
5. Shukla accepted a complex role in the Star Plus series Karishma Ka Karishma. She had also acted in series such as Son Pari, Hatim, and a crime thriller named Gumrah. 
6. She had managed to bag a role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film Black. However, she had to back out as the shooting schedule clashed with that of Karishma Ka Karishma.
7. The former actor is an archaeologist. She completed her MA in Archaeology from Deccan College Post-Graduate and Research Institute.
8. Her husband, Swapnil Suryawanshi, a mechanical engineer with an MBA, is deeply passionate about health and fitness. He is a certified personal trainer accredited by the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) and currently works as a fitness trainer.
