Priyanka Chopra Jonas' brother Siddharth Chopra's ex-fiancee Ishita Kumar got married in the UK. Kumar took to her social media handle and shared candid pictures of her wedding.
Ishita Kumar got hitched to Aaryan Belani in London. According to a report, Kumar got a job in London post her breakup with Priyanka Chopra's brother. Kumar wrote in a post-breakup post, "Cheers to new beginnings. With a goodbye kiss to beautiful endings."
In her wedding pictures, Kumar is seen smiling joyously in the wedding ceremony with sindoor, choora, and traditional jewellery. She wore a red saree with a golden border for the occasion.
Priyanka Chopra Jonas had attended the Roka ceremony of Siddharth and Ishita alongside her husband Nick Jonas in Mumbai. Chopra had also shared the picture from the Roka ceremony on her social media handle and had welcomed Kumar. Chopra wrote, " So proud of my baby brother. Ishita welcome to the family...you are so beautiful together...I wish you both the best for the future! Happy Roka!! @ishittaakumar @siddharthchopra89 ❤️🎉."
The couple were all set to get married in the last week of April 2019 but their wedding was called off a couple of years ago. Ishita Kumar also deleted the pictures of the Roka ceremony and her bachelorette party from her social media and left for a job in the UK.
Even though the reason for breaking up the engagement isn't revealed by any of the family members, Chopra's mother said in a statement that Siddharth Chopra wasn't ready for marriage. While certain reports also suggested that the wedding was called off as Kumar had to undergo an emergency surgery ahead of the wedding.
Siddharth Chopra's marriage with Kanika Mathur was also cancelled a few years back. Siddharth Chopra is reportedly dating Tamil and Telugu film actor Neelam Upadhyaya.
