Ayushmann Khurrana's highly awaited flick Anek's trailer was released on Thursday, May 5. The trailer tells that the story is focused on the people of North East India, their struggles and the cruelty and treatment as second-class citizens of India they faced earlier.
In a three-minute trailer, a uniformed Khurrana introduces himself as someone who works for India's security in the North East. He confronts some hard truths as he starts on a quest to aid two opposed sides in the region in achieving a peaceful deal. Alongside Khurrana, actors Andrea Kevichusa Deeplina Deka, Manoj Pahwa, and Kumud Mishra appear in the Anubhav Sinha directorial.

Andrea Kevichusa is a professional model from Nagaland. She's worked with renowned names like Sabyasachi Mukherjee and Piaf, as well as several foreign ventures. She's also worked for Katrina Kaif's beauty line, Kay Beauty.
She began modelling as a hobby at the age of 15 and soon began to receive offers. She worked as a part-time model for a Mumbai modelling agency while in school. Anek marks Kevichusa's Bollywood debut. Kevichusa is said to be affiliated with one of the Mumbai-based agencies. Mukesh Chhabra used this agency to audition her for the role of Anek, and she was cast.
