Thar Movie Plot
The film Thar begins in 1985 in Munabao, Rajasthan, with the murder of a man named Suwa. The plot then shifts to the night before Babita's wedding, when her family is slain and the dowry items are stolen by a robber named Hanif Khan. The incident then introduces Surekha and his right-hand man, Bhure, in the film.
While they are investigating the murder and thievery, Siddharth, a strange man from the city, arrives looking for three men to help him with his vintage business. He starts causing a stir by hanging around in town and engaging with Kesar, a married woman. The plot then indicates that Panna who is Kesar's husband and Kanwar, two of the three men Siddharth is hoping to hire, return from their journey to Kolkata, and things start to look dark.
