Doctor Strange is the first film in the sequel series, and it shows Stephen Strange, a talented but arrogant neurosurgeon who had it all until he became the Master of the Mystic Arts. He has it all: money, fame, and a former girlfriend.
He wasn't very good at maintaining his eyes on the road, though, and a car accident paralysed his hands. As a result of the accident, he lost his whole career, sending him into a downward spiral. Strange wasted all of his money trying to fix himself, and he became so bitter that he abandoned Christine, the only person who cared about him. When the Ancient One knocks his Astral Form out of his body and sends him on a tour of the multiverse when he is at his lowest and has nothing more to lose, Strange finally sees the light.
Following the events of Spider-Man: No Way and WandaVision, the second instalment of the Doctor Strange film series continues the character's journey. The renowned role of Stephen Strange, played by Benedict Cumberbatch, will be reprised in this new film, as will his exploits as he explores the cosmos. After unlocking the gates to the multiverse, Doctor Strange finds himself in a scenario where he must travel through other worlds in order to save his own.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is the 28th instalment of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the studio's first horror film. The cast includes, Scarlet Witch/Wanda Maximoff is played by Elizabeth Olsen, Karl Mordo is played by Chiwetel Ejiofor, Dr Nicodemus West is played by Michael Stuhlbarg, Wong is played by Benedict Wong, America Chavez is played by Xochitl Gomez, and Dr Christine Palmer is played by Rachel McAdams.
In India, the vast majority of Marvel films are only available on Disney Plus Hotstar. Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness will be available to stream on Disney Plus Hotstar beginning June 22, 2022. As is common for most Marvel films, the film will be launched on the OTT platform at 12 a.m. IST in Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, and Telugu.
