Watch Special Ops 1.5 Online: Kay Kay Menon is all set to return to OTT with a prequel to his hit web series Special Ops. This time around, the series will focus on Research And Analysis Wing's special agent Himmat Singh- what made him the man he became.

In season 1 of the series, viewers were introduced to a team of special agents who are tracking down a terrorist responsible for multiple high profile attacks on Indian soil. The pack is led by Himmat Singh who realised in 2001 that the attack on the Indian Parliament was executed by not five, but six terrorists, one of whom- the mastermind- is absconding. While his claim is not taken seriously in the beginning, as terror attacks continue and a correlation emerges, Himmat Singh is brought back from his suspension to lead a covert operation.

In Special Ops 1.5, we see two agents approach cop Abbas Sheikh (played by Vinay Pathak) who has worked closely with Singh, to know more about the highly sought after RAW agent. The prequel then takes us to Singh's initial days as an agent and events that shaped him.

Apart from Menon and Pathak, actor Gautami Kapoor will also be returning to the series to reprise her role as Himmat Singh's wife. The series will also feature Aftab Shivdasani, Aishwarya Sushmita, Parmeet Sethi and Kali Prasad Mukherjee.

Neeraj Pandey and Shivam Nair have directed the series, while Deepak Kingrani and Benazir Ali Fida have been credited for its writing alongside Pandey.

The series will see Menon play a younger version of himself. Speaking on how he prepared for the task, the actor recently told Firstpost, "It is basically bringing in that element within you which is youth. It is like any other character that you play. You sculpt, you remove the excess that is there from within you, and search for particular characteristics for that particular persona that you have within you which matches the character that you play."

All episodes of the series will be available for streaming from November 12.
