Watch Samantar Season 2 Online: Marathi mystery thriller series Samantar is coming back with its second season on July 1. Featuring Sai Tamhankar, Nitish Bharadwaj, Swwapnil Joshi, and Tejaswini Pandit in lead roles, the show is directed by Satish Rajwade.
Joshi, Pandit, and Tamhankar have previously been seen in the 2015 Marathi romantic drama "Tu Hi Re" and the film was received well by the regional audience. The trio will be united on-screen after six-year in the latest season of the show.
The second season of the show resumes the story of Kumar Mahajan played by Joshi who searches for a man named Sudarshan Chakrapani who has already lived Kumar's life and could tell him about the events about to happen in the future. In the latest season, Kumar is handed a diary that has the details of Chakrapani's life and he finds out that an "another woman" is about to come into his life.
Sai Tamhankar plays the role of the mysterious woman who enters the life of Kumar in season 2.
Talking about her appearance in the show, Tamhankar talked to ANI and shared that it was fun working with Joshi, and Pandit and as she has known them for more than a decade. Pandit and Joshi will essay their role as Kumar and Nima Mahajan from season 1. The first season of the show is inspired by a novel by Suhas Shirwalkar and was released in March 2020.
When To Watch Samantar Season 2
The second season of Samantar will premiere on the streaming platform MX Player. The show will have 10 episodes and all of them will be releasing on July 1. All of the 10 episodes of the Marathi show have been dubbed in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
