His accomplishments, his contribution to the nation's space endeavours, and his imprisonment—the largest setback in both his personal and professional lives—are all highlighted in the movie.

While Madhavan plays Narayanan, the movie also features Simran Bagga, opposite Madhavan, reuniting with him onscreen after 17 years. Bagga plays Meena Narayanan, Narayanan's wife.
